Detecting fraud by going undercover as a sexy secretary? Piece of cake, Erin thinks.

Until she slams face-first into Cade Mason, the hottest man she’s ever met. The only problem: He’s the CEO - and the prime suspect.

Erin tries her best to avoid suspicion by pretending to be the office flirt while digging through the financial records to reveal the culprit.

Unfortunately, Cade has taken an instant dislike to her and monitors her every step.

So what’s a girl to do?

She decides to take full advantage of her new role, trying to throw the cold and arrogant man off his high horse, while she tries every trick in the book and invent a few new ones too. After all, the man is supposedly fed up with women throwing themselves at him, so that should ensure that he runs in the opposite direction. Right?

Only he doesn’t. The stubborn man challenges her every attempt at throwing him off, starting a battle of wills that result in steamy hot sex between them.

And suddenly, Erin realises that she’s risking a lot more than a failed assignment.

But what happens when she learns it’s all a setup? And Cade decides to take his revenge by turning the tables on her?

Excerpt:

"Dress sexy? What's wrong with this outfit?" Erin Taylor asked as she stared at her old boss and trusted friend, Warren Anderson.

He just sighed while he gave her grey-coloured business suit a dismissive look. He had said that he had a new assignment for her and Erin was intrigued. She could always use a challenge in her everyday routine, and this time it seemed that the task would be something entirely out of the ordinary.

She raised her eyebrows and challenged the sweet old billionaire to speak his mind. As far as she knew, there was nothing wrong with her clothes. Warren made a face of dislike and looked her over before answering.

"Nothing’s wrong except that it won't do for this assignment. It's too boring and formal. No one will guess that have any curves at all, Erin."

"Hrmph," Erin answered. "And how can my curves have anything to do with a task?"

Warren seemed somewhat reluctant to explain it to her. Had he changed his mind? Erin gave him a reassuring smile. She might turn down his suggestion, but she was still curious to hear what he had planned.

"Come one, Warren. I'm dying of impatience here."

"I've just discovered some signs of embezzlement in one of my companies," Warren said. "But, since I lack the proof, there is nothing I can do about it. Yet. It would be your job to provide me with that proof.”

“How?”
“I need you to go undercover.”

"As what exactly?"

"As a secretary."

Erin snorted in an unladylike manner, but she couldn't help herself.

"Are you kidding me? I'm an analyst. I don't have the faintest idea about how to be a secretary."

"Then I suppose you will have to learn a new trick or two," Warren said and smiled. "Because I could definitely use your analytical skills to get the proof we need. You would be absolutely perfect for the role." He studied her outfit one more time. "Well, as long as we make a few necessary changes first."

That made Erin suspicious.

"What sort of changes?"
