Action in the Ramsey County District Court for personal injuries allegedly sustained by plaintiff as the result of the negligence of defendant. A complaint in intervention was filed by Firemans Fund-American Insurance Companies for the recovery of workmens compensation paid to plaintiff. The case was tried before O. Russell Olson, Judge, and a jury, which returned a verdict for plaintiffs for $50,000 and $9,491.59 respectively. Defendant appealed from an order denying its alternative motion for judgment notwithstanding the verdict or for a new trial and from the judgments entered.
