Paul "Pauley Ham" Correale Lucchese Captain

Description

Paul Correale was a Lucchese family caporegime (captain) who was an intricate player in the crime syndicate's narcotics and gambling operations. My e-book profiles the bust of a policy ring that grossed $20,000 daily in the Yorkville and East Harlem sections of New York City. Correale worked for a time with Lucchese captain Joseph Rosato who resided in Jackson Heights. Queens. Federal agents and New York City Police broke up the policy ring in June 1959. Authorities seized Correale outside the premises of a Harlem apartment when they closed in on it one evening. The plush, three-bedroom flat was occupied by the policy ring's banker, who lived there.
