Anthony Spilotro Chicago and Las Vegas Mafia Enforcer

By

Description

Anthony Spilotro was an integral lynch pin in the Chicago Mafia. His criminal career began in 1955 when he stole from a Cook County haberdashery. "Milwaukee Phil" Alderisio tutored Spilotro, employing him as an enforcer. In the early 1970s "Anthony the Ant" moved on to Las Vegas where he supervised Chicago mob operations in Nevada. Among the crimes that Spilotro reputedly ordered was the murder of singer/actress Barbara McNair's husband Rick Manzie. Manzie had associated with mobsters throughout his life, and near the end of his life he became hopelessly addicted to drugs.
