Carl DeLuna is a significant Kansas City mobster associated with the Genovese crime family of New York City. In 1969 he was one of fifteen men who were served with subpoenas to appear before a grand jury. The thugs were subpoenaed regarding a Mafia conclave held in Miami in the immediate aftermath of mob boss' Vito Genovese's death. Genovese died in the U.S. Penitentiary in Springfield, Missouri. More noteworthy was DeLuna's involvement in a 1978-1979 money skimming scheme that divested Las Vegas casinos of $268,000.
