Flash Charts — Short Vowel Sounds is one of four programs in the Rhyme-To-Read Series. Readiness is knowing consonant sounds, letter names, and the ability to rhyme. Rhyme-To-Read is elementary skills but is not age specific — if a student needs the skill, Flash Charts is appropriate.
No specific order is required. Choose skills with which your student can easily succeed, then build on those skills. Ideal lesson length is 10 to 15 minutes. Even just once a week will yield amazing results, of course, more often is preferred.
