How can we discover the truth?
Ghost Hunters clip 1
Ghost Hunters clip 2
Totally bogus or seriously possible?
What is real and what is fake?

The only way to know is to search for the truth...but how do we do that?

Throughout this project you will get the opportunity to conduct your own investigation into a paranormal event or experience. While you won't really be ghost hunting or tracking alien spacecraft, you will be exploring the testimonies and findings of professionals and experts in the field.

Goosebumps for no reason, a sudden creak in the night, a shadow that moved too quickly, or a strange light in the sky; sounds like a scary movie right? These events may be real, or all in your head, but that is for you to decide. In this project you will search for the truth about a paranormal event, be it a personal experience, or an interest you would like to explore. Your journey begins by understanding what makes good evidence and how to find reliable sources. Then you'll learn about interviewing people about their own theories and beliefs, and finally, your investigation ends with a written article or a documentary script arguing your opinion and presenting your evidence about the paranormal.

• Determine the best time of day for traveling by looking at time and temperature data
• Compare things where speed is changing linearly, quadratically and exponentially
• Examine modeling situations that require a piece-wise function
