Description

An excerpt for adults only: She looked back at him, and smiled as she caught him watching. “Are you going to stand there and stare, or are you going to come and welcome me home?” He didn’t need to be asked twice. Eamon was already stripping off his rough homespun tunic to land in a heap on the bank. His boots joined it, and then he was wading into the water as naked as the day he was born. He winced as he splashed in up to his knees, and then deeper- no matter that it was a summer evening, the water was shockingly cold. She laughed at his expression. “You can’t handle a little cold water?” She canted her hip, drumming her sharp-tipped fingers on her skin, and cocked her head at him, birdlike. “Come here, then, and I’ll warm you up.” Eamon kissed her when he reached her. He bent down to suck at her soft bottom lip. She made a piping trill of enjoyment, and wrapped her arms around his neck. His hands went to either side of her face. He always marveled at how fragile she seemed, and yet how strong. Siomha’s hips ground against his, lazy and inviting. He groaned into her mouth. She was so hot under his hands, fever-hot, and she always had been. Her sharp-clawed hands were careful against the back of his neck. He could feel the pressure of them as delicate pinpoints, and she smelled intoxicatingly sweet, of powder-down and clean skin. He pressed his nose into the crook of her neck just to breathe in the scent of her. Eamon was already half-hard, and the cooing, soft noises she made as she nipped at his earlobe made him groan.
