This is a celebration or commiseration of my 75 years on the planet. As Paul said 3/4 of a century, who would have thunk it. All of these events are completely factual and hopefully ,chronologically accurate.
I had a lot of enjoyment compiling the book and I hope that others will also gain enjoyment from reading it. I have decided to publish in both ebook and paperback versions. The ebooks will be as complete as possible but to reduce printing costs I will have to trim the colour paperback version by about 25% but, we are publishing the monochrome version complete as per the ebook. I will retain the colour manuscript for possible colour printing later on.
My 75th was a memorable milestone visiting Shetland for the very first time. We were so impressed that we have decided to visit again in a few years but this time in the Summer months so everywhere will be open, it will be warmer and not so much wind.
The next book, if I am still around, will be on my 80th birthday or possibly 2020 or perhaps even both.. I believe I will have enough material to add an interesting additional stage to my experiences.
I have already planned the return trip to Shetland and in the process of planning another North American Odyssey. Whether this will become a reality time will tell but at the very least I will do another Odyssey book based on virtual reality.
