The Seychelles are a group of 115 islands, only a few of which are inhabited. The archipelago is situated northeast of the island of Madagascar and east of mainland Africa in the Indian Ocean. Mahé is the largest and most developed of the Seychelles islands. The capital, Victoria, is home to about 90% of the Seychelles’ population. The other two main islands are Praslin and La Dique.
