The little Ghastlys are up to their tricks again. This time they want to save their new home from the Striped-Suit Man. He plans to clear up the skeletons, and pull down the Old Museum where the Ghastly family now live.
The skeletons don't want to be cleared away, and Mr and Mrs Ghastly don't want to find another home - they had enough trouble before because of the little Ghastlys' tricks. No-one wanted mischievous ghosts living in their houses. The Old Museum is good because there is no-one for the ghost children to annoy.
To start with, the little Ghastlys' tricks do send the man away, but he threatens to return.
In the meantime, the little Ghastlys rescue a bat from a tomato box. The bat is a very useful friend, but with the Striped-Suit man coming back with burly men, the Ghastlys discover that they need more than tricks to thwart his plans.
Book 1 of the Ghostly Ghastly series is "Finding A Home." The family search the town to find a place to live - where the mischievous ghost children won’t annoy anyone.
Book 3 is called "Alfonso." See what happens when the little Ghastlys play their tricks in the Italian Restaurant next door.
The series is great for young readers aged 7-9 years and each book is written in short chapters with illustrations. Book 2, Branwing, has been rewritten with numerous colour illustrations throughout.
