The Ghastlys are a family of ghosts. Mr and Mrs Ghastly are opera singers, but the little Ghastlys can’t stand opera. To them it is like wailing and cats do that better.
Having successfully got out of going to their parents night-time concerts, the little Ghastlys have absolutely nothing to do in the evenings. They decide to visit Alfonso’s Italian Restaurant. It is next door and is bright and colourful with lively music and happy customers.
And it’s great fun to leap out of pizzas and shower the customers with flour, scaring them so much that they run off without paying their bills.
The customers don’t come back and the restaurant becomes a dark and dismal sort of place. Alfonso is in despair because no-one comes to dinner any more.
Can the little Ghastlys find a way to put things right?
