This evolving story includes reexamining the ancestral background of Wilmer Pearson who married Amy Whitlatch. One has to keep reading it until the end as the actual ancestry has so many twists that even the ending brings out an unexpected surprise. In the previous book, we discovered a big surprise in that Wilmer's direct male ancestor wasn't from England but was a Delaware Native adopted by a Quaker family. To imagine there might be even more to be revealed is an understatement.
This book especially examines his mother's and father's mother's side.
