The time is 1770 in the back mountains of North Carolina. A Swiss man meets a Mixed-race Native woman. Their eyes meet and love sparks fly. This is the story of the Swiss Sagerser line who intermarried with natives and mixed-race people in the mountains of Virginia/North Carolina. This family and others moved westward to the rolling hills of Kentucky. Love sparked and ancestral legacy was created. It also talks about the Johns line which was Scottish people who intermarried with Free People of Color/mixed people. The two lines converged in Kentucky to give birth to Earnest Sagarsee.
