This illustrated book explores minimal surfaces using the software SURFER. It presents a series of variations on three important mathematical shapes from the program’s large library of geometric forms: Cayley’s cubic, surfaces with degree-7 singularities, and Barth’s sextic. The equations behind the original shapes are included at the end of the book in the references section.
