The story of James A. Jones--from polio at age four, to his doctorate and professorship in education, to his thirteen overseas missionary trips, to his most recent pastorship of over thirty years--offers a message of hope to the distinct world of the handicapped. Overcoming pain and paralysis, persecution and prejudice, Jones has mastered the complexities of a polio-encumbered life. Now nearing seventy, from the seat of his electric cart, Jones maintains his labor of love as he continues to instruct at Indiana Bible College, Indianapolis, as well as pastor of Apostolic Bible Church in Brownsburg, Indiana. One can't help but admire the stamina he manifests. May his life, and the reading of it, cause others to advance more determinedly down the road called life.
