PRAISE FOR GO FORTH AND KICK SOME ASS:
"Life is tough and this book reminds you of that, but it also reminds you that YOU are tougher than anything life can throw at you. Mark has taken years of experience and boiled it down to an inspiring, humorous and dead on serious look at what you need to do to be successful in life. It isn't as difficult as you might believe."
- C.C. Chapman, Bestselling author of "Content Rules"

ABOUT GO FORTH AND KICK SOME ASS:
Having been a self-employed creative for nearly all my adult life, I've learned quite a lot, most of it the hard way.

In the past, I have composed original music for a few national TV series, the '94 Winter Olympics on CBS, and a couple of major video games.

I'm a produced TV writer, I've optioned big feature film screenplays and developed a few with some very successful producers.

I started a podcast in my car to promote one of my novels and within a few months, "Pacific Coast Hellway", ended up in afternoon drive-time on Sirius Satellite Radio five days a week and got me featured in Playboy Magazine.

From there, I became one of the first podcasters to make a full-time living creating my own shows for the internet.

I have penned several novels that have developed cult followings. I get a huge kick out of the fact that fans of my Parsec Award-winning "Number One with a Bullet" from around the world refer to themselves as Bulletheads.

Another of my self-published books was featured on "Access Hollywood" and became a perennial Amazon bestseller in the process.

A video show I created and starred in on the Net landed me a job hosting a nationally syndicated television series-without even having to audition. I used that gig to help me get an agent for on-screen and voice over work. Just recently, I've been approached with a number of opportunities to create, produce and host a bunch of different TV projects.

If you're looking to make your mark as a creative and don't know what to do, I've been in your shoes. I know what it's like to wake up thinking, "I'm not where I thought I would be by now". But I can tell you this:

Surviving as a creative is all about "advancing the ball". You fight for every inch of ground, every yard. The odds are almost always against you and it's a battle you can ill afford to lose.

GO FORTH AND KICK SOME ASS will not only show you the mental tools you need in your arsenal but how to best acquire them and use them to your advantage. Because, believe me when I say this, you can absolutely be the hero of your own life story. You just have to want it.
