The Junkyard Dogs

Three of the Marines of Combined Action Platoon Whiskey 8 are recruited by a mysterious Mr. Smith for a secret program--assassinating Viet Cong and North Vietnamese cadre living undercover in nearby villages. The Marine nicknamed Socrates believes something is wrong, but his attempts to go up his chain of command to find out are rebuffed. However, he learns of a planned NVA assault on Whiskey 8.
