When Simon and Elizabeth's twenty-four-year-old daughter Charlotte makes a sudden appearance from the future to rescue them from an unexpected attack, they're surprised, to say the least. She's been sent back by the Council to save them from an enemy who will stop at nothing to exact revenge.
