Prompted by a row with his wife, Angelo goes for a walk in the forest where he stumbles across an unknown creature. After he brings it home, events unfold that he never could have expected and he finds himself forced to respond to issues that increasingly escalate beyond his control. His continued failure to perceive things for what they truly are leads to an ultimate irony of his own making.
