This is the condensed version of Verbal Poker Tells; it's approximately 30% of the length of the complete book. It makes most of the major points but leaves out: a lot of hand histories, more in-depth explanations, and a section on Deception and Information-Gathering Techniques.
Verbal Poker Tells is the follow-up to Zachary Elwood's acclaimed book Reading Poker Tells (2012). It describes the most common and reliable verbal patterns poker players have. More importantly, it gives you a framework for thinking about and analyzing verbal tells. It analyzes during-hand verbal behavior from such shows as Poker After Dark, High Stakes Poker, the World Series of Poker, and the European Poker Tour.
