Richard Fenton lived in Albania for a year, working at an English Language school in Tirana. His diary, in the form of e-mails sent home, recorded experiences ranging from the day-to-day to the highly unusual: from the weather and what he had for dinner, to meeting a man with a goat and experiencing his first seismologic event. This book combines his diary with observations and notes to provide an account of an ordinary life lived in an extraordinary place.
