Children should never be made to suffer. The world can be a hard enough place and although we believe that parents and adults should know that they need to protect children... sometimes the world turns into a hard place for those very small souls. Children need to know they are not alone, as sometimes they can be, even in a family. They need to not carry guilt over something that is not their fault. The premise of this book concerns a harsh truth, but I believe that all of us need to know that sometimes bad things happen, even to the innocents. But there can be a way out - if sometimes only through your thoughts.
