This little book is aimed at taking humour more seriously in order to recognise that luck is granted to those who have a sense of humour. « No other means except humour will provide effective protection for people against a series of venomous characteristics such as vanity, greed, and striving for power. » (Quadbeck-Seeger).
In life there is no better weapon than humour and we would be spared some problems if we didn‘t always take ourselves so seriously.
"The greatest and only mission in life you ought to bother about is to live happily.“ (Voltaire) "What, therefore, can a person do better than have fun?“ Shakespeare, however, adds: „To be serious all you have to do is be stupid, while a great mind is essential for merriment.“ As a result of verbal communication, there are unfortunately some authors missing whose names I hope yet to discover. I would also be happy to receive emails with any quotations not included in this little book and also releases of translations errors.
