Only the Words of Christ
Of the entire Bible, it is the words that spoke Jesus Christ that we are to follow. His words, Spirit and inspiration are what guides us to everlasting life.
The Christian Bible, translated from Koine Greek, “The Books” are a collection of religious texts from Hebrew and Christian writings. There is not one common Bible, as there are many variations, some with more books of the apostles and others with less. Catholic, Hebrew, Protestant and even the Ethiopian Orthodox Churches all share similar versions of these texts; including other Abrahamic religions such as Islamic and Bahai faiths. It was three centuries after the death of Christ that early Christians complied the Gospel accounts and letters of apostles to form the New Testament. Matthew, Mark, Luke and John are the first four original gospels of the New Testament. The Old Testament was taken from the Hebrew Tanakh, (Torah, Prophets, and Writings) but was not complete, the Tanakh was edited for the Christian faith with entire sections removed.
