Theo and Mya had such a great time windsurfing in Cornwall with their three male friends last year, they agree to do it again. This year they choose somewhere hotter. The beautiful island of Sardinia offers everything they could want – perfect wind conditions, clear Mediterranean waters and a vibrant nightlife of local bars in which to enjoy their evenings.
After one fun evening in town, the five friends call for a nightcap in the sedate bar of their hotel. While some of the clientele read books or play cards, Mya reveals that when she was eighteen, she and her then-boyfriend used to play a kissing game where they'd choose a boy for Mya to approach and kiss. Theo's not sure why the idea of a younger version of his wife kissing other boys should get his motor running – but it does. When they get back to their room, she gives him a few more details and he can't keep his hands off her.
Their three friends are also eager to hear more about Mya's kissing game, and while having yet another nightcap in the quiet hotel bar the following night, she explains how she and her boyfriend had drawn lots to pick their target. Inevitably, the three guys are keen to see how it works. Mya gets four coasters, draws a pair of sexy lips on one, then folds them all up. Each of the men chooses a coaster. When Tom gets the one bearing the lips sketch, someone points out that it would be inappropriate for them to kiss in the hotel bar surrounded by old people and family groups. Mya agrees and suggests she accompany Tom to his room so they can kiss in private.
Theo watches his wife leave with their friend, then heads upstairs to wait. Mya returns to their room fifteen minutes later. She explains that the kissing game was for kids, and that now she's an adult the game has had a little upgrade. When she reveals that her lips weren't the only thing Tom kissed, Theo is driven to ravish her yet again.
Over the next few nights, Mya plays the upgraded kissing game with the other men in their group, pushing the boundaries a little each time. By the end of the week, it can hardly be called a kissing game anymore. Much to his surprise, Theo couldn't be happier…
