In this noir mystery/thriller, Ryan Hart frets, "Am I another down-on-my-luck loser?" Lost his commercial fishing job last year; and hustling cab fares through the night in dreary Seattle ain't cutting it. He pushes spiked dope on the side to support his fiancée and baby daughter, "illegal aliens" the Feds could snatch and deport at any moment.
When the cops find a body in the back seat of a cab Ryan's busted for murder. His only alibi is his dope dealing buddy Shawn. But Shawn has split town. Descending into the netherworld of human trafficking and prostitution, Ryan hunts for Shawn with increasing odds of losing his life to thugs who want to shut him up-permanently.
