Now that Zenos has managed to coax information out of a drunken Bonds, the mystery around Afred’s disappearance is one step closer to being solved. Unfortunately, the man’s incoherent ramblings fall short of explaining everything, and when Zenos gets booted from Goldran’s faction for the crime of helping a grievously wounded Zonde, his chances of chasing down any further leads seem slim. Though many questions lay unanswered, Zenos starts packing his bags—it’s clear his time at the Royal Institute has come to a close.
But behind the scenes, more trouble is brewing. And when it rears its ugly head, an old, hidden truth surfaces with it.
