Description

Graham Norton is a retired neurologist who grew up in Temora, on the south-west slopes of New South Wales. After completing his schooling locally, he enrolled in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Sydney. Upon graduating, he moved to Adelaide, where he spent his entire professional life – initially as a general physician, and later undertaking postgraduate studies in neurology, with a special interest in adult epilepsy.

A passionate swimmer since childhood, he has continued the sport throughout his life. His love of music led him, in retirement, to take up the recorder. He is also an avid traveller, documenting many of his journeys in a travel blog. Writing has long been a quiet ambition, culminating in the creation of this memoir.
