One September afternoon brings change and discoveries to Kyoto. As the summer heat is beginning to recede, Aoi and Kiyotaka are tending to the store as usual when Yilin Jing pays them a visit. It turns out that she’s enrolled in a master’s program in Kyoto, and until it begins in October, she wants to work at Kura “to get to know Aoi better.” While navigating a separate assignment from her father, Yilin learns about antiques at Kura, and in doing so, discovers her own secret.
