God created Light on the first day and rested on the seventh day to establish the first week, time, and His calendar. Moses delivered Israel from the bondage of slavery; Jesus delivered us from the bondage of sin. God gave the law at Sinai; God gave His son at Jerusalem. Joshua brought Israel into Canaan; Jesus will bring us into His kingdom. Feasts of Passover and Pentecost are fulfilled; Tabernacles will soon be fulfilled. The righteous will live forever in peace and tranquility, and there will be no more tears, pain, or death.
