The Animal Adventure Pack Volume 2 introduces kids to 3 characters who teach kids about the importance of family, having a home and how to deal with criticism for looking and acting different than other people in society. Book 1, The Caterpillar Who Wanted To become A Butterfly, teaches kids what happens when people people judge them harshly, based on their appearance. When a small caterpillar is judged and ignored by her animal friends in the garden for being thick and eating every leaf and twig she can find. When she discovers that the reason for her endless appetite is because her body is preparing to change into a butterfly, she expects her friends to celebrate the change she is going through. But when her friends harshly criticize her and ignore her, she chooses to embrace the changes she has experienced, and finds new friends outside of the garden who accept her for who she is. Kids will learn that even though we are all different, we are all loved by God and all have a purpose in life. Book 2 The Turtle Who Wanted A New Home, takes kids on an adventure as they follow a little turtle who’s home is disturbed by construction. After being removed from the woods he grew up on, the turtle begins searching for a new home beyond the woods he grew up on. Along with a small bunny he befriends along his journey, he learns how to escape from wild coyotes and even encounters a fierce hawk that tries to eat him. Kids learn about the importance of having a home and family and how God, our Heavenly Father, provides for them in every area of life. Book 3 Where Do The Birds Go When It Rains Mommy? Teaches kids to be compassionate to those who are struggling. In the book, kids meet a little girl named Cindy who wants to know what the birds she loves to watch every morning, go when it rains. After talking to her mother about the birds, she asks her mother to help her build a bird house for the birds she enjoys so much. Kids learn about reaching out to others who don’t have a home or who don’t have the resources they need. Kids also learn about the importance of valuing their home and family life.
