Rancher Matt wants to honor his promise to his mother and marry the woman she picked out for him. However, on his way to a date with his fiancée, he encounters an orphanage on fire and stops to help. He rescues twin boys, much to the relief of Erin, an employee who feels a motherly love for them. With the orphanage destroyed, the three need a place to stay, so Matt offers his ranch.
