By

Description

30 circular walks in the beautiful Peak District National Park. All the walks start from a convenient parking area. The area covered by the book is loosely  based around Bakewell the 'capital' of the Peak District. Within the compact area covered by the book there is a diversity of scenery and landscape types - from the lush meadows of Chatsworth Park to the moors and gritstone edges to the east. There are also routes in the limestone dales of Chee Dale and Lathkill Dale. The walks have been chosen to give some of the best views in the Peak District. Even if you know the area well there my be some routes that are new to you.
Maps and directions are given to enable  the parking locations to be easily found. The actual walking maps and directions have been designed to be clear and easy to use.
Height profiles are provided for each walk.
