Her life changes when her prized golden Chase ball, engraved with swirling constellations, is lost in the crushing depths of Pondia's ocean world. Desperate to recover it, she strikes a deal with Prince Montria of Solaria, who has been cursed into the form of a giant, chitinous insectickia by a jealous moon witch. In exchange for retrieving her treasure from the abyss, Montria asks for three simple comforts: a meal at her table, a night in her bed, and a single kiss upon the cheek.
