Wade v. Commonwealth

We hold that Loretta Lawhorne Wades conviction of attempted capital murder of a police officer, after having previously been convicted of obstruction of justice upon the same evidence, must be reversed because the prosecution for attempted capital murder violated the statutory proscription of Code § 19.2-294.
