The Romancers A Comedy in Three Acts

This 1894 comedy in three acts by French poet and playwright Edmond Rostand involves two sets of parents who trick their children into falling in love. This English translation by Barrett H. Clark was published in 1915. The Romancers served as the basis of the 1960 musical The Fantasticks.
