Slocum’s just ridden into town with a pack of mules, a greenhorn named Tad, and hopes for some healthy compensation. And, he reckons, a soft bed with a lusty gal would suit him just fine. But instead of fillin’ up Slocum’s coffers with gold, the mules’ yella-bellied owner fills Slocum and Tad up with lead—killing the kid.
