"All that we are is the result of what we have thought" so begins the Dhammapada- a collection of the sayings of the Buddha. The Buddha (563 - 483 B.C) is one of the greatest teachers of history. This collection of his sayings was probably written down in the first century B.C. Dhamma means law and Pada means foot. The Dhammapada, is the principle scripture for Buddhists . His wisdom teachings are timeless and wise.
