I was so excited! Mr. Harper, my choir teacher, got me a scholarship to SingingCamp this summer. Not only that, but he said that we'd be practicing all summer with Melissa, the star soprano. I thought she was beautiful, and she finally took notice of me as well. However, when we arrived at Mr. Harper's house for practice, it was clear that he had no intention of listening to us sing. While Melissa was very excited about his attention, I was more apprehensive. Unfortunately, he decided he was going to teach us both a harsh lesson, whether I wanted it or not!
