At Bible camp for a week, Rachel Newman is about to have a religious experience. Pastor Arnold and his wife are on a quest to populate the world with like-minded souls. They enlist Rachel and her friend, Kyra, for this purpose, although he favors Rachel. She becomes an obsession for him, as he falters… and stumbles headlong into ruin.
