It was such a perfect move, I thought to myself afterwards. A way to close the space between us, to share the intimacy of a seemingly mundane interaction. It would bring me up against his body. And yet, if anyone saw us it was just a perfectly understandable request, from one adult to another, then it could be explained away in a heartbeat.
It also showed me his vulnerable side. If this was a seduction then it was a very, very clever ploy.
But then, when you are a guy who has taken a business from start up to billion dollar turnover in just five years, you know more than a thing or two about getting what you want.
