Clair
I'm nineteen, homeless, and estranged from my parents after my dad kicked me out for being gay. My only friend in the world is my cat, Linus.
When Linus gets sick, my regular vet demands a $500 deposit I don't have. My last hope is Dr. Blake Jorgensen, the vet with a pink neon-lit clinic called "P***y-Hound". Everyone says he's a nutcase.
But Blake saves Linus and doesn't charge me a dime. He's handsome, muscular, intense, and hiding a huge secret: the clinic's name is an ironic joke. He fixed my cat, but is he the man who can fix my heart?
Blake
I'm a thirty-two-year-old vet, and most people in this town think I'm an angry, overpriced monster. They don't get my sense of humor, and they definitely don't get that I'm gay. I'm married to my work, saving animals that other vets give up on.
Then Clair Heath walks in: a college-age guy who's basically homeless. He's smart, sweet, and was thrown out of his parents' house for the same reason I was.
Of course I helped his cat pro-bono. And of course I offered him a room in my house. There's a big age gap, and my past is... complicated. But I've never met anyone who understands me the way Clair does.
Meow is a feel-good, steamy gay romance with a grumpy, heart-of-gold veterinarian, a brilliant kid bound for Harvard, a scene-stealing lab tech named Catsmeat, and a very happy kitty.
