Darkseid, Desaad, Kalibak and company seek to flee Apokolips, which has recently been liberated from Darkseid’s tyrannical rule. (The story references Jack Kirby’s graphic novel THE HUNGER DOGS.) Meanwhile, the Justice League gathers to investigate the arrival on Earth of UFOs. Based on the cartoon series of the same name.
