Description

“STANDING IN FRONT OF A ROOM AND CALLING YOURSELF A LEADER, NO MORE MAKES
YOU A LEADER THAN SITTING IN THE MIDDLE OF A GARAGE MAKES YOU A TRUCK!”
“IF YOU HAVE TO TELL THEM THAT YOU ARE – THEN YOU AREN’T”
“THE PURPOSE OF A LEADER IS TO GROW MORE LEADERS –
KNOWING YOU DON’T NEED A TITLE TO LEAD”

DAN CLARK is founder and CEO of The Art of Significance Development Company an
international communications and training firm; High Performance Business Coach; University Professor; National Radio Host; Award Winning Athlete; Adventurer; Gold
Record Songwriter; and a New York Times Best Selling Author of 34 books, who
delivers customized, cutting edge keynote speeches and transformational programs on
leadership, safety, building winning teams, and creating a legacy culture of excellence
to entry level employees, emerging leaders, top corporate executives, sales teams, healthcare providers, educators, and military troops at every pay grade.

From the time he was eight years old and battled cancer, Dan has relentlessly pursued excellence. As a teenager Dan starred in a weekly TV series on CBS called ’47 Happiness Way, was the voice of a cartoon character, and through his relentless pursuit of self mastery, became the state Golden Gloves Boxing Champion, Intermountain Ski Racing Champion, an All American football player, All State baseball pitcher, and accepted a full scholarship to attend the University of Utah (Psychology ’79).

Dan played football for 13 years until his career was cut short in a practice tackling drill that left him paralyzed for fourteen months. As he fought his way back to a 95% recovery Dan became an expert on personal integrity, self-mastery, motivation, change management, resiliency, and the healing power of service before self – all of the intangible qualities of a well respected and admired leader.

By 1982, Dan was recognized as an Outstanding Young Man of America, was sponsored into the National Speakers Association by ZigZiglar, and has since soared to the edge of space in a U2 Spy Plane, flown fighter jets with the Air Force Thunderbirds, raced automobiles at Nurburgring, carried the Olympic Torch in the Winter Games, and was named Utah Father of the year in 2012.

Since 1982, Dan has spoken to millions of people in over 5500 audiences, in all 50 states, 61 countries, on 6 continents, to clients including 200 of the Fortune 500 companies, world leaders gathered at the ‘Festival of Thinkers’ in Abu Dhabi, keynoting the United Nations World NGO Congress in Germany, Million Dollar Round Table, National School Board Assoc., National Assoc. of Secondary School Principals, National
