After striking a deal with the district attorney, Noah is settling back in to life in San Diego. But work is hard to come by, so when he's offered a case involving a mysterious girl and some photographs, he accepts the job.
What is supposed to be an easy case quickly turns complicated when a man goes missing. Suddenly, Noah finds himself in the thick of something far more dire than just identifying a girl.
