Vince sat backstage, unnerved by the celebrities around him. After 5 years you would think he’d have gotten use to it, especially now with five best selling novels behind him, but he still felt out of place on these talk shows. Sitting in the same room as Kevin Smith and Karen Gillan, his celebrity crush, made things seem that much more surreal. Also, whoever said don’t meet your idols lied. Karen was even more beautiful in real life than she was on Doctor Who, as Amy Pond. His nervousness felt obvious and the room, although kept at a nice 67 degrees, felt unusually hot. It felt like he was sweating and hoped it wasn’t that obvious. Thankfully he was going to be the first one on and hoped that once it was over he’d be able to relax a little.
