Police scientist Dr. Ray invents a gun that imbues living creatures with the ability to generate great heat. When Ray comes face to face with the gangster called Hot Rod, the gun causes Hot Rod to burst into flames because of the presence of gunpowder. Then, Woozy gets a job playing triangle for a symphony.
