How better to equip men than with the Gospel of John – the incarnation, God in Christ; Christ the Logos of God; the depths; the grace. Scholars have long debated the question: “Is Romans or John the most profound book of the Bible?” Literally, the Gospel of John is Jesus. So know John. Keep John open as you study Romans. Jesus will always keep you in balance and out of error. The Gospel of John is basic, simple, practical. It is a wonderful study book. It should be mandatory in Bible classes. Our hands must tremble as we handle Scripture. Our hearts must be thrilled with John as we encounter the mystery of God in Christ.
