She was a Royal Princess of the Havens dedicated to protecting the Great Forest from harm before her exile to a life of slavery in the backwaters of the land of Nevers.  A chance meeting with a powerful wizard though set her on a path to discover her own inner powers, allowing her to recover her name, Adjeness.
